Ed Reed Leaving the Ravens

Ed Reed Headed to the Houston Texans

Free-agent safety Ed Reed is on the verge of signing with the Houston Texans, according to the NFL network.
“I'm signing with Houston unless something changes,” Reed told the network.
Reed has played for the Baltimore Ravens for 11 seasons and is the franchise leader in interceptions with 61. He helped lead them to two Super Bowl titles, including last season.
Last week, Reed flew to Houston aboard owner Bob McNair's private jet and Reed spent two days meeting with coaches and management, but left town without agreeing to a deal. Speculation was that he wanted to give the Ravens a chance to re-sign him.
The Ravens have lost several high-profile players in the wake of their Super Bowl victory.
They traded receiver Anquan Boldin to San Francisco for a sixth-round pick, linebacker Ray Lewis retired and joined ESPN, linebacker Paul Kruger signed with Cleveland and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe signed with Miami. Baltimore also released safety Bernard Pollard.
Reed is the only player in NFL history to score on a punt return, a blocked punt, interception and fumble recovery.

Johnny Manziel vs Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson is a fantastic football player. He may be an even better human being. He is not the prototype NFL QB relating to size. He is mobile, athletic and to many the next wave of NFL QBs. Will Wilson help Manziel with his draft status? Manziel is not Russell Wilson. Barry Switzer said it best: Manziel is arrogant, spoiled and has embarressed his team and coaches. Jaworski has said it best. Manziel does not possess the mechanics, read progression or discipline at this point to be a franchise NFL QB. In short Manziel is not Russell Wilson. Wilson was a 3rd round pick. Manziel will be fortunate to duplicate Wilsons draft slot.
